Drilling and Completions Engineering Intern

At Hess Corporation, I investigated and improved inventory management practices by collaborating with engineers and the Supply Chain team to identify the causes of long material reconciliation lead times. I then standardized and redesigned the reconciliation workflow, reducing average reconciliation time from three months to just one week through process optimization and cross-departmental coordination. To deepen my technical understanding, I also completed deepwater drilling coursework, participated in daily operations meetings, and spent time on a Transocean rig, gaining firsthand experience in drilling engineering and offshore operations.
